Hi i'm Nina Garty from Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee.I am currently in my 3RD year of Jewellery and am writing my dissertation and research talk. My dissertation is based on the "revival of the the Tribal" in todays society. The trend is to follow these ancient body modifiactions and adornments. When researching I found your collection of "Lightening Safe Jewellery" , it has proved to be a very relevent.I would greatly appreciated if you could answer some of my questions .

for what reasons did you decide to create the 'lightening safe Jewellery'?

-I believe the images of the markings to be a subtle example of Scarification do you believe your work to be influenced by such ancient techniques?

-What message do they send?

-Is the concept of safety important to you?

-What method did you use to produce the pieces?

-Are the pieces almost rirualistic as you are filtering the lightenings energy to a certain point of the body?
